1 week agoTook the new heated sculpt class and kicked my butt in the absolute best way! Love this studio as it always feels very warm, welcoming, and authentic. They also have a great variety of different classes they offer, so if an intense sculpt class is not for you- their yin & more traditional vinyasa classes are so amazing too! Highly recommend.

2 weeks agoLOVE this studio!! Friendly staff and a clean, nice, welcoming space. Love that they have a 6am class Monday-Friday and now sculpt on the schedule! Which is a great workout (!!) and compliment to the flow classes they offer. Adrienne's classes are awesome- very challenging, in the best way. Highly recommend Om!!

4 days agoOmg love this place. This studio is amazing. I love the dynamic vinyasa flow and the new sculpt classes. Plus the fresh mural is so cute. It's a little far for me but I still book it down here because the classes are so wonderful and such a good workout. Highly recommend!!!

2 months agoPower of Your Own Yoga Studio is hands down the best yoga studio I've ever been to. The moment you walk in, you feel it — not just the warmth of the room, but the warmth of the people. The teachers here are truly in a league of their own. They're not just experienced — they're deeply knowledgeable, intuitive, and genuinely care. You can tell they've spent years honing their craft, and it shows in every class. Their ability to make you feel like part of a family from day one is unmatched. One of the things that sets this studio apart is the infrared heated room. This isn't your typical hot yoga sweat box. The studio is lined with infrared panels that deliver a unique heat that warms you from the inside out. It's a much more therapeutic, penetrating heat that feels incredible on your muscles and joints — way deeper and more nourishing than any other hot yoga experience I've had. It makes such a difference in how you move, how you stretch, and how you feel afterwards. And then there's Adrienne — the heart and soul of the place. She's absolutely one of the most fun, bubbly, and welcoming humans you'll ever meet. Her energy is infectious, and she has a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and uplifted. Her presence alone is reason enough to come back. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just getting started, Power of Your Own Yoga Studio is a sanctuary. 2 months agoPower of Your Om is THE local place to do yoga. I've been coming here for over 5 years, and it continues to be a cornerstone of my wellness routine. The staff is fantastic, and there's a real sense of community that makes everyone—from total beginners to seasoned yogis—feel welcomed and supported. The longevity of the teachers speaks volumes about the studio's culture and quality. Danielle and Jocelyn lead incredible flow classes that are both energizing and grounding, and I always look forward to the Saturday morning HIIT class—it's the perfect jolt of energy to kick off my weekend. They offer a wide range of classes to fit every level and mood, and the space itself is warm, friendly, and inviting. I truly love supporting this local gem and can't recommend it enough!

Unlike a traditional hot yoga room, infrared heaters don’t heat the air around you, instead they use infrared lamps (that use electromagnetic radiation) to warm your body directly - just like radiant sunlight! Benefits include:

It is important to remind yourself that yoga is not a competitive sport, rather a personal experience. While yoga poses can be adapted for anyone who is limited by illness or injury, hot yoga may not be ideal for everyone. If you have a medical condition, it is best to consult with your healthcare provider before engaging in any new fitness program. GETTING STARTED WITH INFRARED HOT YOGA
Allow for enough time to let your body adapt to the heat. Arriving 10 minutes early will help you adjust to the temperature.
Dress lightly and consider a headband to keep your hair off of your face. Choose comfort to minimize heat build-up.
We strongly encourage enhancing your water with an electrolyte solution or a pinch of salt to keep your fluids balanced.
Avoid an overly full or empty belly. Eat two to four hours before class. Keep it light if eating within an hour before class.
Pace yourself. Rest if you need to and listen to your body throughout class.
