Unlike a traditional hot yoga room, infrared heaters don’t heat the air around you, instead they use infrared lamps to warm your body directly - just like radiant sunlight!

GETTING STARTED WITH INFRARED HOT YOGA

Allow for enough time to let your body adapt to the heat. Arriving 10 minutes early will help you adjust to the temperature.

Dress lightly and consider a headband to keep your hair off of your face. Choose comfort to minimize heat build-up.

We strongly encourage enhancing your water with an electrolyte solution or a pinch of salt to keep your fluids balanced.

Avoid an overly full or empty belly. Eat two to four hours before class. Keep it light if eating within an hour before class.

Pace yourself. Rest if you need to and listen to your body throughout class.

Yoga will calm your overloaded mind, support regulating your nervous system and strengthen your body. The benefits of yoga can be enhanced with the benefits of infrared heat. Infrared hot yoga is therapeutic, safe and comfortable.
